From Population Medicine to Precision Medicine

Today's Challenge

It is estimated that 2.1 billion worldwide are overweight or obese. In addition, it is estimated that the number of those over 60 years of age will surpass 2 billion by 2050. Our greatest global health challenges are thus related to obesity and aging. Individuals today are often characterized by BMI and waist circumference, indirect measurements that tells little about health and metabolic status.

Our Solution

AMRA ́s precise measurements are acquired via a 6-minute MRI scan and translated via AMRA® Profiler, a cloud-based, computer-aided service. The results provide precise body composition measurements compared with normative values. The research and medical community will now be better equipped to improve and personalise treatments for individuals with metabolic and aging-related disease.
